Le Diner en Blanc is not an ordinary event. The evening takes place in a public place that is often very busy and not designed for such an occasion. It must be carefully controlled for everyone’s safety and so that the city will allow us to hold future editions. Everyone plays their part!

Memberships and/or tickets are not transferable, according to Diner en Blanc policy.

Absolutely. Personal table styling is one of the beautiful traditions of Diner en Blanc, and creativity is encouraged. Table décor should always be predominantly white, with subtle accents of silver, muted gold, or champagne welcome.

Because dining space is precious, décor should remain elegant and compact. We recommend maintaining a narrow central décor footprint of approximately 6 inches, leaving ample room for plates, glassware, food, bottles, and ice buckets. Décor must not obstruct sightlines, neighbouring guests or walkways.

Open flames are not permitted. Flameless LED candles may be incorporated into your table décor. Please ensure any décor you bring is safe, stable and does not interfere with neighbouring tables.

Tickets to the event are not refundable or transferable. Catered meals and beverages are likewise not transferrable.

Each departure point has a set number of spaces; once full, you will need to select a different location.

Yes and no. The tradition of Diner en Blanc is for attendees to prepare their own gourmet meals. However, for convenience, and because life gets busy, gourmet offerings prepared by local chefs and caterers can be pre-ordered through our official e-store and picked up at the secret location on the night of the event.

Yes! Registration is always for 2 people. You will sit opposite your guest at your table.

Diner en Blanc is an elegant, secret-location outdoor dining experience that brings together friends, food, fashion, culture, and community for one unforgettable evening.

Born in Paris, the event is now celebrated in cities around the world while preserving its signature traditions: guests dressed in white, elegant dining, a secret location, the traditional Napkin Wave and Sparklers moments, and a commitment to leaving the venue as beautiful as it was found. 

To attend, registration takes place in phases.

Phase 1 - Members from the previous year and friends of the organizers.

Phase 2 - "sponsored" – A registered member can invite someone else to attend, up to 10 people.

Phase 3 – Everyone who has joined the Port of Spain Fan List.

All tickets, regardless of phase, are sold in pairs on a first-come, first-served basis.

You will be able to change the name of your guest up until a week before the event.

On our Diner en Blanc Port of Spain website and select ‘Join the Port of Spain Fan List’, enter your name and email address, and voilà, you’re on the list.

By joining the Fan List, you will receive all pertinent information about the event, as well as an invitation to purchase tickets during Phase 3.

Le Diner en Blanc is always held in a public location with space limitations. Organizers must limit the size of the tables to plan and optimize the given space.

No. Dîner en Blanc is an experience shared à deux. All tickets are sold by pair/table for 2.

When registering (purchasing your tickets), you will need to coordinate with your group of friends and ensure that you all select the same Table Leader, subject to availability, in order to sit together.

Spaces within each Table Leader’s section are limited, so we recommend organizing your group before registration begins. If a particular Table Leader’s allocation becomes full, you may need to select another available Table Leader.

A square folding-table and two white chairs; a white picnic basket and/or bag including a gourmet meal for two, a white tablecloth and cloth-napkins, cutlery, dishware, and glassware; and a garbage bag. Since this is a sustainable event, guests are not permitted to bring one-time or disposable cups and plates. Please note that handy checklists will be available to all guests.

Yes. Exceptionally for Port of Spain, tables, chairs, and white tablecloths are provided for all attendees.

All attendees are responsible for bringing their own white place settings, white cloth napkins, glassware, cutlery, personal table décor, and gourmet meal, unless these items are purchased through the official e-store.

Please do not bring:

• Disposable paper plates
• Flimsy or single-use plastic plates
• Disposable plastic cutlery
• Disposable drinking cups
• Open-flame candles
• Oversized table décor that obstructs neighbouring guests or walkways
• Beer, spirits, or other alcoholic beverages
• Items that cannot be stored neatly within your allocated area

Diner en Blanc places great importance on elegance, sustainability and leaving no trace. The international event rules similarly prohibit single use/disposable cups and plates.

No. Diner en Blanc is founded on both elegance and sustainability. Guests should use proper reusable tableware, including white ceramic or quality reusable white melamine plates, proper metal cutlery, and real glassware.

Disposable paper plates, flimsy plastic plates, plastic cutlery, and disposable cups are not appropriate for the event.

White. Head to toe in white. Elegant. Unmistakably Dîner en Blanc.

Guests should dress elegantly in pure white. Ivory, cream, beige and off-white are not substitutes for white.

Tasteful silver, gold or champagne metallic accessories may be incorporated, and white or nude footwear is permitted

Not at all. White is the dress code. The yearly theme is for inspiration, never an obligation to wear a costume.

For 2026, the theme is Une Soirée Parisienne: La Belle Époque. It invites guests to draw inspiration from Parisian glamour, art, romance, tailoring, and timeless elegance.

You might embrace dramatic Belle Époque grandeur, contemporary French fashion, minimalist sophistication, or your own interpretation of l'art de vivre.
